Advanced

Get deeper with one and two footed complex FasciAshi strokes to massage with more of your body weight

advanced ashiatsu barefoot massage therapist
16 CE hours | Two days in class | *$500 tuition

This advanced-level class empowers the experienced myofascial ashiatsu barefoot massage therapist to work with more difficult single and double footed strokes, potentially applying their full body weight as kneaded. Strokes are performed with the client in Prone, Anterior and Sidelying positions, while the therapist massages from varying angles of pressure to achieve a safe, deep, fascial barefoot massage session focusing on structural alignment.

Learn how to vary your stroke intentions as you choose to use your feet working bilaterally, unilaterally, contralaterally, simultaneously, in sync and out of sync, independently or in succession in the Advanced class. Work bilaterally from head to toe on the right client. No two massages are the same and the possibilities for using these techniques on your existing client based are endless!

Prerequisite: FasciAshi Intermediate.

Once you have successfully completed and passed your FasciAshi Advanced training, you are eligible to fine-tune your footwork and attend our 1 day specialty courses! The Clinical Track will have a series of classes that focus on techniques, protocols and topics to asses and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions, while also working with rehabilitation approaches and the pain response.

Start with our Clinical: Neck class – but first have a good amount of practice in the techniques we taught you in the Intermediate and Advanced classes

Clinical Track classes are coming out one at a time!

Change is hard, learning is a process. We take in what we can – and maybe bits of the information presented in class just weren’t what you needed in that moment. That’s OK – come back and soak it in again! For best retention of the concepts, theories, strokes and adventures we experience in class, you are always welcome back to review everything. No CE’s or course materials are provided, but we’ll partner you up with either a client or another #AshiatsuTherapist who is also reviewing the class, and you’ll get to give and receive FasciAshi all day long while being guided, and tweaked, by the instructor. (Get a 90 minute massage from an experienced ashi therapist for $125?! Not bad!)

You may attend 1 or 2 days of this class, for $125 each day.

Email your instructor to see if any space is available for you to take this class as a refresher course
